Students will learn to "think like an archaeologist" while discovering the prehistory of Pennsylvania. They'll do everything but an actual excavation!

How to use this site!

This site is divided into the three periods of ancient Pennsylvania history:

  • Paleoindian Period
  • Archaic Period
  • Woodland Period

Each period includes lesson plans, media resources, and print materials.
