The
West Penn Power Sustainable Energy Fund (WPPSEF) has invested in sustainable
energy technologies in the 23-county West Penn Power service region
of Pennsylvania since 2001. The fund is involved in the development
and deployment of technologies in three major areas: renewable energy,
clean energy, and energy conservation and efficiency. This website
is part of the Fund's multifaceted education program to promote the
use of sustainable energy technologies and increase energy literacy
among the general public.

The Center for Science and the Schools (CSATS) is a Pennsylvania State
University initiative to help sustain and support mutually beneficial collaborations
between Penn State scientists and K-12 educators. The facility maintains
a K-12 curriculum facility in 119 Chambers Building that is open to teachers
and the Penn State community. In addition to developing and aligning
curriculum, CSATS offers services such as program evaluation, research
opportunities, and grant writing support.

Penn State Public Broadcasting (PSPB) produces, acquires, and distributes
television programs that address local interests and reflect the diverse
cultural, political, geographic and demographic characteristics of our
viewing public. Through its K-12 educational services, PSPB offers
teachers, parents, and students age-appropriate resources and, most recently,
curricular material based on cutting-edge research available from Penn
State and other colleges and universities in its viewing area.
